TweetMeet Our Staff Phil Puopolo, Owner. In 1988, Mr. Puopolo started bartending in various night clubs, sports bars and pubs in the NY/NJ area. He then moved on to work for Meridian VAT Reclaim in 1997, a financial firm in NYC. He served in various roles until 2017, ending with the title of Audit Director–North America. He attended the school in 2019 and returned to bartending in hotels. Mrs. Theresa Haxton has been bartending for over 9 years. Her bartending career started at Cowboy’s Dance Hall. Mrs. Haxton has also bartended at hotels and the airport for most of her career. Like everyone at the school, Mrs. Haxton is committed to our graduates’ success. Theresa continues to do volunteer work for the school as well as private events. Her expertise is in night clubs, hotels, airport bars, staff training, inventory, and administrative duties.
