Meet Our Staff
Rachel Burdett, owner and Assistant Director of Professional Bartending School of San Antonio, has bartended for over 20 years and counting. Mrs. Burdett currently does private events. She started at a local landmark here in San Antonio, Alamo Café. From there she moved on to Cattle Baron Restaurants in New Mexico. Came back to Texas and worked at Tapatio Springs, and finished at Carrabba’s in Sugarland. Mrs. Burdetts’ experience includes, but is not limited to, administrative duties, payroll and inventory, staff training, point of sale training, recruiting, management and counseling (required of all bartenders). Her expertise is in sports bars, country clubs, golf resorts, and corporate restaurants.

Mr. Stratton has over 20 years experience in the industry including but not limited to restaurants, nightclubs, resorts, and private parties. Mr. Stratton teaches part time during the day. He also assists with admissions and administrative duties.
Mrs. Theresa Haxton has been bartending for over 9 years. Her bartending career started at Cowboy’s Dance Hall. Mrs. Haxton has also bartended at hotels and the airport for most of her career. Like everyone at the school. Mrs. Haxton is committed to our graduates’ success. Theresa continues to do volunteer work for the school as well as private events. Her expertise is in night clubs, hotels, airport bars, staff training, inventory, and administrative duties.
Jerry Martinez is our Flair Instructor. He currently bartends at SoHo Lounge downtown. Jerry has been bartending for over 10 years. Mr. Martinez has competed in numerous Flair competitions in and around San Antonio and the country. Jerry teaches the very basics of Flair to the more advanced. His expertise includes Flair, bar management, staff training, inventory, nightclubs, and administrative duties.
Russel H. is our part time instructor. He currently manages and bartends at the San Antonio International Airport for multiple restaurants and bars owned by HMS Host. Russel has bartended for the past 10 years. His expertise includes: management, inventory, pay roll, hiring and firing, private events, and airport bars. Like all members of our staff, Russel is committed to our students and graduates success.
